Brunelli, Ripasso di Valpolicella “Pa’Riondo” 2021, Italy

Pariondo is the name of Brunelli’s first single vineyard, almost perfectly shaped as a circle. The double fermentation on the skins make this a full-bodied wine, with a great concentration of perfumes. Its bouquet is mellow and balanced, with an intriguing bouquet of blackberry jam, mature red fruits, toasted spices and cocoa powder.
Gold Medal winner in 2020, at the 'Challenge International Du Vin 2020'
Since the 18th century, the Brunelli Name has always been closely connected to San Pietro in Cariano, the main village of the Valpolicella area. Nestled between Verona and Lake Garda, Valpolicella represents the perfect synthesis of so many different elements. A mineral soil and rich in limestone, a wonderful mosaic of indigenous grapes, the Mediterranean climate an ideal South-Southwest exposure. A long-time family of winemakers, their mission is to be a refine and faithfully interpret the wine of the region.
Ripasso goes admirably with elaborate pasta or rice dishes, red meats, game, cutlets and chops, as well as with roasts and moderately mature cheeses. Serve at 18°C (64°F).
