Mark estimates he's swirled, sniffed, slurped and spat over 150,000 samples of wine since starting his career as a trainee wine taster with Victoria Wine back in the 80s. And that's in addition to a healthy amount actually consumed. All in the interest of eeking out the best wines, you understand. His greatest satisfaction is when a Real-Wino says; "Just send us your choice, we know it will be good." Nuff said.

Rita has developed a wine nose by osmosis! Years of preparing Blind Wine Tastings to help Mark through his exams and all those "holidays" to wine regions clearly rubbed-off. In addition, she's got one of the UK's finest noses for spotting a corky wine.

Resident warehouse guard dog and on-the-job sleeper. Honey is an integral part of TRWC team, she hasn't got a great palate but does enjoy chewing pallets, chasing tennis balls and butterflies, and eating carrots from the veg patch.

One of Rachael's first ever jobs was pouring wine at a TRWC tasting. Fast forward 20 years and now a partner in the business Rachael looks after all of our marketing and e-commerce. Working her way through her WSET qualifications on the side she is passionate about sustainable wine production, shining a spotlight on minority wine producers and loves hiking or trail running around vineyards in her spare time.
