Unsurprisingly, considering Laura's Fleurie, her "simple" Beaujolais Villages is a cut above the rest. If you remember the good old days of Beaujolais Nouveau when we looked forward to the 14th November and that deliciously grapey, Ribena-coloured youthful wine hit the shelves, then this is like that but soooo much better and with an extra dimension of structure to make it a joy to drink on its own but also with the meal.
